Ani Choying Drolma is a Buddhist nun from Nepal who has always been called the “Rock Star Nun” by international media. In the past two decades, She has released over 20 albums worldwide, and live performed in numerous occasions all over the world. Her music spreads profound peace and touches the hearts of thousands. Ani Choying Drolma believes in compassion in action. She has intimated and involved in many humanitarian works and women empowerment projects through the Ani Choying Drolma Foundation. She also founded Nun’s Welfare Foundation and Star of Hope Project to provide free education to young girls and boys in Nepal. Ani Choying Drolma has served as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador to Nepal in 2014-2019, and received the 2017 Atlantic Council Freedom Award.
